Radiy Khabirov announced start of voting for improvement objects in 2024

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, announced the start of voting for improvement objects in 2024.

“On April 15, the All-Russian online voting began to select public areas landscaped in 2024. It is annual and is held within the framework of the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program of the “Housing and Urban Environment” national project, initiated by our President,” the head of the region wrote in his social networks.

Radiy Khabirov recalled that 122 public spaces from Bashkiria were put up for voting last year. This year there are already 185 of them. The essence of the vote is that the residents determine which parks, squares, pedestrian zones, and municipal embankments need to be put in order in the first place. Funds from the federal budget are allocated to improve the winning facilities.

All citizens of Russia over 14 years of age can participate in the voting. It will last until May 31 on the 2.gorodsreda.ru platform.

“We pay special attention to the state of public spaces in the cities and villages of the republic, their appearance, and safety. And federal support is significant for us in this matter. Therefore, I urge everyone to vote,” the Head of the Republic addressed the residents of Bashkiria.

He also published cards on his page showing how public spaces change due to project participation.
