Questions on SMO will appear in Unified State Examination

Questions related to the special military operation in Ukraine will be included in the tasks of the unified state exam in history after the corresponding textbooks appear in all Russian schools. TASS reports it regarding Rosobrnadzor.

“As soon as textbooks appear in all schools of the country that include the relevant material, and they work out the classes in which this material should be studied, tasks for checking the studied material will be included in the control and measuring materials of the final state certification of the corresponding level of education. If the study material is included in the 10th-grade program, the history test materials will be adjusted considering the completion of high school education,” the department explained.

Earlier, Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that a history textbook with a section on a special military operation would be available from September 1 for grades 10 and 11. It is planned to be massively used in schools from 2024-2025.
