River station will be built on Belaya embankment in Ufa
It is planned to build a river station on the embankment of the Belaya River in Ufa. This was announced by Ufa Mayor, Ratmir Mavliev, speaking at a meeting on the development of domestic and inbound tourism with the participation of heads of travel agencies and associations of tour operators.
As Ratmir Mavliev emphasized, Ufa is now rightfully among the leading Russian cities for business and event tourism and is a major congress and exhibition venue. At the same time, industrial, gastronomic, medical, and active tourism is developing.
“Last year, about 80,000 people used water transport. Shortly, we set ourselves the task of installing a river station on the embankment of the Belaya River,” Ufa Mayor said.
