“Where youth is, there is development, and there is future” - Zarina Gazizova on supporting young scientists in Bashkiria

“The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, has set an ambitious task to make Ufa a center of attraction for students and young scientists, and we are moving in this direction step by step. Therefore, the high positions of the region in the federal rating in terms of measures to support young scientists are not an accident, but the result of the purposeful work of the leadership of the republic,” says Zarina Gazizova, candidate of chemical sciences, chairman of the Youth Public Chamber.

The young scientist notes that the creation of the Eurasian Center with the construction of a student campus is the most important but not the only part of significant work. There are many other measures to support young scientists, including social ones. They provided incentives for talented graduates who continued their education in the country. Special scholarships, awards, and grants are allocated.

“I, as a young scientist and candidate in chemical sciences, implemented a scientific project thanks to the victory in the grant competition. I know how important targeted funding is for scientific research. Where there is youth, there is development, and there is the future. The energy of youth drives scientific thought and technology,” Zarina Gazizova admitted in an interview with a Bashinform News Agency correspondent.

Earlier, it became known that Bashkiria took 3rd place among the Russian Federation’s subjects in support of young scientists.
