Head of Bashkiria increased funding for schoolchildren initiative projects to 70 million rubles

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, signed a decree amending the decree "On the implementation of initiative budgeting projects in the republic based on the initiatives of schoolchildren, and on the development of a network of pre-universities in municipalities of the Republic." The document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information of the Republic.

As the regional Ministry of Education and Science explained to Bashinform News Agency, the changes in the decree concern an increase in funding for initiative projects for schoolchildren from 40 to 70 million rubles annually.

The composition of the council for the implementation of initiative budgeting projects has also changed: it included and. O. Executive Director of the Association "Council of Municipalities of Bashkiria" Fanis Gilvanov. He replaced the former head of the association, Boris Nurislamov.

On April 17, a competitive selection of projects for school initiative budgeting and developing a network of pre-universities will start in Bashkiria. Applications will be accepted until May 16, 2023.

Following the new procedure for conducting competitive selection, all schools in Bashkortostan are eligible to participate in the project. However, only one project can be submitted from a school, the success of which directly depends on the involvement and activity of initiative and creative students who are open to the problems of their educational institution.
