Citizens will be able to choose additional education organizations according to social certificate - Ministry of Education and Science of Bashkiria

The Decree of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, dated April 11, 2023, came into force. The document amends the 2021 resolution “On the organization of the provision of public services in the social sphere in the Republic of Bashkortostan following the federal law “On the state (municipal) social order for the provision of public (municipal) services in the social sphere”, aimed at improving the quality provision of additional educational services in the social sphere.

“One of the innovations was a social certificate, which allows citizens to choose organizations that provide additional education services independently. Moreover, these can be state and non-state organizations,” said Aibulat Khazhin, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

All this should increase competition in the sector of public (municipal) services, and hence their quality and accessibility to consumers. Institutions will be strongly motivated to improve their work processes and improve performance.
