The square improvement near the puppet theater in the Bashkir capital is scheduled for 2024. This was announced at an operational meeting by the Ufa Mayor, Ratmir Mavliev. He instructed the head of the Ordzhonikidzevsky district, Albert Malikov, to work with residents to jointly discuss the concept of a future recreation area and then include it in improvement projects.
“According to what program we will work on, we will decide with you. And I'm waiting for proposals for the children's library.
I have such a vision that this is a full-fledged children's center where families can come. So that there is something to do for both adults and children. So that there would be some play area, where it would be possible to hold a children's birthday, educational content, sports, and children's playgrounds,” Ratmir Mavliev said.
As Bashinform News Agency wrote, a project seminar was held in Ufa to discuss the preliminary concept for improving the Skazka Square near the puppet theater. The participants were introduced to it by the project's chief designer, a Center for Urban Design specialist, Aigul Akhunova. It is planned to divide the square into several zones: for a quiet rest with a canopy and benches, a photo zone, an amphitheater, and playgrounds for children of different ages, the elements and designs of which can be made based on children's drawings. Among other important points, she noted that much attention is planned to be paid to the landscaping of the territory, work with the landscape, and lighting.
Recall that the theater itself was among the objects under construction and reconstructed for the 450th anniversary of Ufa. The renovated building should open its doors to young spectators by the end of this year.
