Bashkiria will receive 4.5 million rubles grant for "Toratau" geopark project implementation
The Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation summed up the results of the Industrial Experiment contest. The winners were 21 project teams from 16 regions of Russia, which will explore the contribution of industrial heritage to the development of territories. Among the winners is the project “Multimedia guide with augmented reality technology “Voskresenskoye Plant Museum”, which will be implemented on the part of the Toratau Geopark. The grant amount is 4,565,000 rubles.
The Voskresensky copper smelter, recognized as a monument of urban planning and architecture of national significance, has always attracted travel enthusiasts and researchers of antiquity. Thanks to modern technologies, a multimedia guide will be developed, with the help of which visitors, using the capabilities of augmented reality, will be able to take a fresh look at the building of the plant and get an idea of its work in the past.
