Almost 93,000 telemedicine consultations were held in Bashkiria in 2022
Over the past three years, their number has increased more than seven times.
The remote consultation center in Bashkiria was opened in 2017. In 2019, 12.6 thousand "remote" meetings were held, and in 2022 their number increased by 7.4 times - up to 92,980, the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria reported. In terms of number, telemedicine consultations in oncology are leading - an increase of 3.5 times in three years.
The software is installed in hospitals and all regional rural health stations, allowing you to remotely "treat" patients with chronic diseases - residents of villages far from the center. Last year, 2,883 telemedicine consultations were held in the "patient-doctor" format.
