Anti-corruption laws violators in Russia may be banned from working in state corporations
Russians fired for violating anti-corruption laws may be banned from working in state corporations and companies for 5 years. The relevant bill has been submitted to the State Duma of the country.
This also applies to various positions in the Bank of the Russian Federation, the Social Fund, specialties of the financial commissioner, and others.
“The need for such a restriction is because the specifics of the legal status of citizens who apply for such positions relate not only to their professionalism but also to their moral level,” the document states.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that it was proposed to strengthen control over the correspondence of expenses of persons holding public positions to their incomes in Russia.
