122 public territories to be improved in Bashkiria under national project in 2023

Within the framework of the federal program “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, 122 public territories will be landscaped in Bashkiria this year, the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities of Bashkiria reported. They were chosen by a vote of residents last year. These are 19 parks and 10 squares, 16 alleys, 14 pedestrian zones and sidewalks, six playgrounds and play areas, a memorial to those killed in the Great Patriotic War, and 56 other objects.

Many of these territories are included in the development strategies of cities and districts, which ensures their consistent and integrated development, the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities noted.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, last year, 126 public territories (45 parks and squares, 17 dams, 7 squares, 15 pedestrian zones and alleys, and many other objects) were put in order in Bashkiria as part of the federal program "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment". 1.3 billion rubles were allocated for implementing these projects, of which 93% came from the federal budget.
