7th-grader from Ufa won All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in Chinese

A seventh-grader from Ufa won the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in Chinese. The final stage of the competition ended the day before at the Moscow State Linguistic University.

As the press secretary of the Ministry of Education and Science of Bashkiria, Lina Sarbayeva, told the Bashinform News Agency, having successfully overcome the written and oral rounds, the winner of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in Chinese was the 7th-grade student of the capital's gymnasium No. 39 Liu Xinzhan. The winner's mentor is a Chinese teacher from the same educational institution, Wang Yongmei.

The final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad in Foreign Languages was held from 24 to March 28.

Marat Aminev, the second participant in the Chinese Language Olympiad, an 11th-grade student of the Ufa gymnasium No. 91, was awarded a special prize, "Excellent Oral Speech".

The final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad runs from March 16 to April 30. More than 6500 participants from Russia participate in the last step. 71 schoolchildren are participating from Bashkiria. The Olympiad is held in 24 subjects. To date, Olympiads have been held in chemistry, economics, French, Spanish, Italian languages, and art.
