Last year, Bashkiria ensured sustainable socio-economic development with growth in the primary industries. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov stated this at a meeting of the Republican State Assembly - Kurultai, speaking with a report on the results of the government's activities in 2022, Bashinform News Agency reports.
“We managed to consolidate internal reserves to solve two key tasks - economic development and improvement of the quality of life in the republic,” Nazarov emphasized. — In healthcare, we worked to improve the quality of medical care. More than 104 billion rubles have been allocated for the development of this industry, along with the medical insurance fund.”
In the last three years alone, 11 extensive medical facilities have been built in the region. Among them are four infectious diseases hospitals, which “completely covered our need during the pandemic,” the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria noted.
According to him, 43,000 people received the necessary treatment, and “behind these dry statistics are specific people who saved human lives.”
As a result, thanks to the work of COVID hospitals, the mortality rate from coronavirus in the republic last year was 0.4 percent. This is about 3.5 times less than the average for Russia.
“According to our project, similar infectious diseases hospitals were built in 10 Russian regions. Our Bashkir builders built five hospitals. Another 15 constituent entities of the Russian Federation took these projects for subsequent construction. I would also add that the WHO highly appreciated our project and was recommended for use in other countries,” Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov emphasized.
