The tourism industry is becoming an essential point of growth for the republic, Radiy Khabirov said at a meeting of the State Assembly on March 29.
“We open Bashkortostan to Russia, to the whole world. The republic breaks into the number of leading regions in the rating of tourist attractiveness. Last year, 1.9 million tourists visited Bashkiria. According to this indicator, we are in the top three in the district.
At the same time, our potential is much higher. Therefore, we are building new routes, and creating modern tourist facilities, for example, the Shulgan-Tash historical and museum complex. We have started projects to develop the Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations and the Fyodor Chaliapin Museum of Music. We are developing geological, educational, and industrial tourism in full force,” the Head of Bashkortostan noted.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the day before, deputies of the State Assembly heard a report from the regional government on the results of work in 2022.
