A draft law has been submitted to the State Duma, giving law enforcement agencies the right to stop the movement of drones in their area of responsibility.
Following the document, law enforcement agencies and departmental security organizations will have the right to stop the movement of drones in the air, in water, and on land.
Recall that in 2019, a law was developed and adopted that allows you to stop dangerous flights of uncrewed aerial vehicles over critical infrastructure facilities, essential government facilities, and crowded places.
“The law has shown its effectiveness. However, technology is developing: other uncrewed vehicles that operate not only in the air have appeared. And it is necessary to respond to new threats,” the State Duma emphasized.
