145 people fell ill with COVID-19 over the last day in Bashkiria, the Bashinform News Agency was told in the republic's Ministry of Health. As of March 24, 158 patients, including 101 older adults, are undergoing inpatient treatment. 2,295 people are treated on an outpatient basis, of which 724 are over 60 years old.
36 citizens were discharged with recovery during the day. 853 people were fully vaccinated against COVID-19 last day.
We add that earlier, the Minister of Health of Bashkiria, Airat Rakhmatullin, noted that the coronavirus situation in the republic is stable. Still, several unvaccinated patients are arriving for inpatient treatment, more precisely, those vaccinated against COVID-19 six or more months ago.
“Vaccination is needed, especially among the elderly and decreed groups of the population,” Airat Rakhmatullin said.
