Rescue dog from Bashkiria took third place in International Award internet voting

As Bashinform News Agency found out, on March 20 at 12.00 Kaliningrad time, the voting of Internet users for the heroes of the fourth season of the first international award "My affectionate and necessary animal" ended. According to the organizers of the competition, according to the initial analysis, residents of 79 regions of Russia and countries near and far abroad took part in the elections of the national hero this season.

“The people’s preferences largely coincided with the jury’s opinion, which decided on its list of winners at the end of February. And this means that in exactly one month, all the heroes of the season and their representatives will meet at the awards ceremony, which will be held on April 22 in the most hospitable city of the Russian Baltic - Zelenogradsk.

The results of the popular vote: the dog Sarmat - 211,377 votes, the blogger cat Fedya - 209,415, the rescue dog Torin - 15,823, the cat Puzik - 10,742, the dog Rosa - 10,052, the rest of the nominees - from 4067 votes.

Recall that a year ago, Torin became the hero of the publication of the Bashinform News Agency - “The main task is to search for missing people”: a photo essay about the only rescue dog in Bashkiria. The material was sent to the competition "My affectionate and necessary animal." The rescue dog’s story interested the organizers of the creative competition, and now Torin is the award winner.
