Oncourology elite of Russia and other 14 countries gathered in Ufa - Valentin Pavlov

At the operational meeting of the government in the Republic Management Center on March 20, BSMU rector Valentin Pavlov noted the international component of the II Eurasian Congress of Urologists held in Ufa.

“We hold several such congresses a year. This congress was special — it took place after the pandemic and under the pressure of sanctions. We have gathered here the oncourology elite of our country and 14 countries of the world - China, India, Turkey, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and others. The event was attended by Jean de la Rosette, Vice President of the International Society of Urology, which includes more than 10,000 members from 130 countries, and Yasen Farrahat, Secretary General of the Arab Urological Association (3,000 members from 15 participating countries). Our traditional topic is live surgery operations. An international team performed more than 25 operations. The Eurasian Association of Urologists was founded during the congress,” said Valentin Pavlov.

The Bashinform News Agency previously learned that the forum for urologists organized a real-time live broadcast of demonstrative operations from the clinic. Specialists must see and discuss the technical methods of performing procedures to get a complete picture of the surgical treatment method.
