Multifunctional youth assistance center will be created in Bashkiria

A public center will be created to help young people in difficult situations in Bashkiria. Regarding the publication of the chairman of the state committee of the republic on youth policy, Yana Gaiduk, this was reported in the Republic Management Center.

The center will operate on the principle of a "single window", where the children will be provided with temporary housing, food, clothing, job help, and medical, psychological, and legal support.

As Yana Gaiduk said, the first institution of this kind will open based on the Yashlek House youth space in Ufa. The project will bring together relevant departments, NGOs, charitable foundations, public organizations, social hotels, volunteers, business representatives, etc.

“The creation of such centers was included in the list of instructions of the President of Russia following the State Council of the Russian Federation meeting on youth policy in 2022. There is a need to create a single window in an understandable and youth-friendly format. Every day I communicate with young people personally! They come and share common life problems and ask for support. We do not create a new entity or replace other institutions' functions. The task is to combine these same functions and opportunities around a young person to prompt assistance and support. At the same time, there is a minimum of bureaucracy and response to urgent needs here and now,” said Yana Gaiduk.

Work will begin in April 2023.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that from 2024, the universities of the republic would award additional points to schoolchildren who work as volunteers and volunteers.
