Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov held a meeting on constructing the Interuniversity Student Campus of the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center in Ufa in videoconferencing mode. He warned that, according to the road map, very tight deadlines were set for many activities.
“We must promptly resolve several issues related to the organization of construction and installation works of the first stage of the campus, the transfer of land and property to the concessionaire, the change in the composition of the founders and the management structure, the start of project financing and the acquisition of equipment by universities,” said the head of the regional Cabinet.
The Prime Minister dwelled in detail on passing the state examination of project documentation for the first stage of the campus. To date, most of the remarks of Glavgosexpertiza have been eliminated. Some of the adjustments are under consideration by experts, and the project documentation is being finalized for several more.
Concluding the meeting, he recalled that it is necessary to immediately begin work on the preparation of planning decisions and place equipment models in the assigned areas together with the republic’s universities. The Prime Minister was also instructed to identify suppliers, terms, and funding sources and organize a meeting with representatives of Glavgosexpertiza.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the campus would include residential modules for students, teachers, and guests for 4.4 thousand seats, an IQ park, an auditorium and laboratory block, a genomic center, premises for trade and catering, sports and recreational areas, and venues for cultural events. The size of all objects will exceed 130 thousand square meters.
