Longest ice rink completed its work in Ufa

The skating rink on the embankment of the Belaya River in Ufa has completed its second season. The longest ice rink in the city, with a length of more than 800 meters, began operation in mid-December 2022. According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Administration of Ufa, over 30 thousand people visited the skating rink during these 2.5 months.

Two warm locker rooms and a shoe storage room were equipped for visitors, and skates were rented. Evening illumination and musical accompaniment created a unique festive atmosphere. During the winter, the skating rink hosted mass sports events, including competitions and master classes in hockey and curling, and family fun starts.

31 ice and 90 hockey rinks functioned in Ufa this winter. Until the end of April, on weekends, you can go skating at the Yulaevets sports complex, and the skating rink at the Short Track Center is open all year round.
