We gradually reveal all Bashkortostan tourist gems - Radiy Khabirov

We are gradually opening all the tourist gems of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov said at the telethon of the Territory of Women's Happiness Open Academy, Bashinform News Agency reports.

“I often say that Bashkortostan is a region disliked by investors, residents, and tourists. This is our fault: we didn't build or discuss the infrastructure properly. Bashkortostan is rich in attractive cultural, ecological, natural, archaeological, and historical tourist places. Our task is to highlight everything, to create new growth points,” the Head of the Republic emphasized.

For example, Radiy Khabirov cited the village of Voskresenskoye in the Meleuzovsky district, where the destroyed Voskresensky copper smelter is located. After restoring order, the village flourished, and the number of tourists increased significantly.

The second example is the unique Shulgan-Tash cave. The flow of tourists there was already considerable, but thanks to the special attention of the leadership, roads appeared there, water was supplied, and now gas is being supplied. This is necessary for the construction of good hotels. The cave itself has become a cultural, historical, and scientific center.

“Now, our efforts are focused on forming the Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations. When I came to see the mausoleum of Tura Khan, I immediately thought that this place has great potential for a large museum and ethnographic, scientific, and tourist complex to grow there. Our Bashkortostan is very rich. We are now gradually revealing all the pearls of Bashkortostan,” said Radiy Khabirov.
