

The regional Ministry of Health emphasized that the number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow in Bashkiria.
“In total, more than 351.6 thousand people have become ill with COVID-19 in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic, 257 of them in the last day,” the Ministry of Health reported.
There are currently 166 people in hospitals, 108 of whom are elderly. Nearly 2,000 patients are treated on an outpatient basis. Of these, over 500 are over 60 years old.
More than 3.415 million people have been fully vaccinated in Bashkiria.
As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, 1,554 COVID-19 cases were confirmed last week. This is 63% more than the previous 7 days. Also, in the region, there is an increase in ARVI incidence. Weekly indicators increased by 17.6%.
“We record that the need for appointments with district therapists has grown. In this connection, we have adjusted the schedule of doctors. And, accordingly, they increased their workload,” said Airat Rakhmatullin, Head of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, at the government’s operational meeting at the Republic Management Center the day before.
