Bashkiria will receive 364 million rubles from the federal budget to support tourism in 2023. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov announced this at a meeting in the government. 209 million rubles are directed to the design of a tourist code for city centers with historical buildings.
Another 149 million rubles are intended to support public initiatives for developing tourism infrastructure and creating campsites and car campsites.
Event tourism has received special attention from the federal center. 36 regions organizing holidays, festivals, and sports events will receive 638 million rubles, including Bashkiria. Almost 6 million rubles have been allocated for the Ufa International Marathon.
The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism to ensure the complete and timely disbursement of federal funds and the Ministry of Sports to organize a marathon at the highest level. As Bashinform News Agency reported, the date of its holding was set for September 3.
The federal budget will allocate almost 1.5 billion rubles to the regions to develop the tourism industry.
