Ufa marathon was among events to be financed by Russian government

The Ufa marathon is one of the events financed by the Russian government. A decision was made to support the regions that organize various festivals, holidays, and sports events that attract participants and spectators from all over the country.

We are talking about subsidies to support and promote such projects. Thus, federal funding will allow the holding of events in 36 regions in 2023. In total, 638 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the order.

Subsidies will be given to the regions whose projects have passed the competitive selection. Among them are the festival of music and fireworks "The Capital of Sunsets" in Nizhny Novgorod, the gastronomic festival "Noyabrfest" in the Crimea, the Ufa International Marathon in Bashkiria, the small aviation festival "Lukinebo" in the Pskov.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that in 2022 the Ufa International Marathon broke the records of previous years, bringing together 5,500 participants from 23 countries, 35 regions, and 245 cities.
