Action plan for Defender of Fatherland Day was discussed by Bashkiria government

The service members will be rewarded, and a solemn meeting will be held in the Toratau Congress Hall on February 22. On February 23, it is planned to lay flowers at the monuments to Heroes of the Soviet Union, Alexander Matrosov and Minigali Gubaidullin in Victory Park, Hero of Russia Minigali Shaimuratov on Sovetskaya Square.

A meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of events dedicated to Defender of Fatherland Day was held in the Government House under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republican Government Irek Sagitov. The order of the Head of Bashkortostan approved the composition of the organizing committee. Also, the discussion was attended by representatives of interested ministries and departments in the mode of videoconferencing - the heads of administrations of municipal districts and urban districts.

“The republic’s government, in cooperation with stakeholders, has already done some work in preparatory measures. A draft plan for preparing and holding festive events dedicated to Defender of Fatherland Day has been formed,” said Irek Sagitov.

During the meeting, its participants discussed the plan of events and issues of protecting public order and ensuring security in places of celebration.

Following the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic's government instructed the heads of municipal and urban districts to hold similar solemn meetings and concert programs dedicated to Defender of Fatherland Day and organize congratulations.
