Tourist Information Center launched in Ufa on Sovetskaya Square
The fifth Tourist Information Center (TIC) in Ufa is opening on Sovetskaya Square in Ufa. There are already eight of them in the republic.
“Like in all our other TICs, on Sovetskaya Square, you can learn about tourist routes and sights of the republic, excursions, events, hotels, catering establishments, transport, and entertainment, and take a map and buy souvenirs. In the future, we will hold tastings of dishes of Bashkir cuisine,” Radiy Khabirov told his subscribers on social media.
Recall that the first TIC in Ufa was opened in May 2022. Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that a Tourist Information Center was launched in Ufa's Gostiny Dvor. During this time, the centers were visited by about 8 thousand people - residents of our republic, guests from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Donetsk, and other regions.
“We are doing a lot for the development of the tourism industry in Bashkortostan, and information work is a very important area. We will open such TICs in the future - in those most popular territories with tourists,” the Head of the region noted.
Recall that Bashkiria was among the leaders of the National Tourist Rating in 2022.
