Head of Bashkiria congratulated scientists on Russian Science Day

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, congratulated scientists on their professional holiday - the Day of Russian Science.

“I wish you health, fruitful work, inspiration, and optimism! We will continue to work together for the benefit of the republic and the country!” he expressed his gratitude to the republic’s scientists for their significant contribution to the development of Bashkortostan's scientific and technological potential and devotion to the chosen cause.

According to the Head of the region, Bashkortostan is rightfully famous for its strong academic and university traditions, scientific schools, and the introduction of the results of their work into the real sector of the economy.

“We are proud that the republic is in the top five of the National Rating of Scientific and Technological Development of Regions. This is a significant common achievement of our scientific community and management team. The successes of the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center, achieved in close cooperation with industrial partners, work to strengthen the competitiveness of Bashkortostan, in general, to grow the domestic economy. One of the 30 advanced Russian engineering schools, "Motors of the Future", began its work. We are entering the active phase of creating an intercollegiate campus. Our universities are increasing their funding and making significant progress. The Ufa University of Science and Technology is becoming one of the recognized leaders in Russian higher education,” said the head of the region.

Radiy Khabirov drew attention to the fact that the Decade of Science and Technology announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin opens up broad prospects for the self-realization of our scientists, researchers, and teachers of higher education, the rise and popularization of the activities of research teams of universities and academies, and increase their attractiveness to young people.

In this regard, Bashkiria continues to allocate grants to implement promising research projects, expanding social support measures to improve the living conditions of young scientists.
