Radiy Khabirov announced direct flights from Bashkiria to Uzbekistan
From February 17, a direct flight will open from Bashkiria to Uzbekistan, Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov said on his social media.
Ufa-Samarkand flights will be operated once a week on Fridays, and the travel time will be three hours.
“I consider this great news, and I am happy that colleagues from Uzbekistan supported our decision to open air traffic. Samarkand is indeed one of the most attractive cities in Asia. Ancient and very beautiful. And in general, there is something to see in Uzbekistan. And Ufa and Bashkortostan have something to show the guests. I am sure that tourists from both sides will be satisfied,” said Radiy Khabirov.
As Bashinform News Agency wrote earlier, regular routes from Russia to the cities of Kazakhstan - Astana, Almaty, and Atyrau - will resume from February 1.
