150 million rubles provided for compensation payments to doctors in Bashkiria

150 million rubles will be provided for compensation payments to doctors in Bashkiria in 2023. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov discussed the issue at a government meeting.

It was about providing compensation payments to doctors of medical organizations with an attached population of fewer than 25 thousand people. Today, 718 doctors work in such medical institutions. The deficit is 138 specialists.

The Minister of Health of the Republic, Airat Rakhmatullin, reported in detail on the payment procedure.

“Compensation payments will be provided to doctors in the specialties of a general practitioner, a local general practitioner, a pediatrician, and a local pediatrician. The right to receive them is granted to citizens of the Russian Federation who do not have unfulfilled obligations under an agreement on targeted training, as well as those who have not exercised their right to receive a lump-sum compensatory allowance earlier, under agreements concluded with the Ministry of Health of the Republic,” the minister explained.

150 million rubles are provided for the implementation of the program. Each doctor will receive payments of 3 million rubles - 1 million rubles annually for 3 years from the date of the conclusion of the contract. The amount is impressive, much more than other programs (1 or 1.5 million for zemstvo doctors in Bashkiria) and even more than the Zemsky Doctor Program offers for doctors who have left for the Far North.

All measures aim to attract scarce specialists to small medical organizations to provide timely, high-quality medical care.

“The key measures to attract doctors and paramedical personnel to the industry continue to be federal and republican programs to provide support measures in the form of lump-sum payments and benefits. The amount of financing for them last year amounted to 185 million rubles. 172 medical workers received payments,” said Andrey Nazarov.

The Prime Minister noted that implementing programs to provide medical workers with lump-sum payments and benefits, along with other support measures, made it possible to reduce the personnel shortage in medical institutions significantly. In this regard, some instructions were given to the Ministry of Health of the Republic. In particular, they relate to the staffing of medical organizations with mid-level specialists and the achievement of the indicator of provision with mid-level medical workers to the level of 104.8 per 10,000 population this year.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, Russian doctors will receive monthly social payments of 4.5 to 18.5 thousand rubles per person in February.
