Non-profit organizations can receive grants from Head of Bashkortostan for their social projects

Grants of the Head of Bashkortostan up to half a million rubles will be available to non-profit organizations of the republic for their social projects.

On February 1, the Grants Fund of the Head of Bashkortostan started accepting applications for participation in the first competition.

Non-profit organizations of the republic participating in developing civil society institutions and implementing socially significant projects in 2023 are invited to this competition. The competition will be held for the first time in a new format of mini-grants, the press service of the Foundation emphasized.

The new format of the competition of grants of the Head of Bashkortostan was chosen to solve the social problems of residents, as well as to help those organizations that previously could not receive support to develop and implement their ideas.

“Non-profit organizations that have state registration for at least three months at the time of application submission, as well as those that have not become winners of competitions from the grant fund of the Head of Bashkortostan, the presidential grant fund and the presidential fund for cultural initiatives from January 1, 2022, to February 1, 2023, can participate in the competition,” - said the press service of the Fund.

The maximum amount that a contestant can claim is 500 thousand rubles. The total budget of the competition is 25 million rubles.

Non-profit organizations of Bashkortostan participating in developing civil society institutions and implementing socially significant projects will be able to apply in 10 areas. Among them are social services, social support, and protection of specific categories of citizens; family support, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood; Culture and art; preservation of historical memory; development of civil society institutions; protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, including the safety of the rights of prisoners; health protection, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sports; science, education, and enlightenment; environmental protection, creation of a comfortable living environment, protection of animals; strengthening interethnic and interreligious harmony.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from February 1 to March 2, 2023, on the website https://grantyglavy102.rf.

In total, five competitions are planned to be held this year. Two of them are for the provision of grants from the Head of the Republic of Belarus for developing civil society institutions, one of which will be held in mini-grants format.

In addition, a competition is planned for grants from the Head of Bashkortostan for the preservation and development of the state languages of the republic and the wording of the peoples of Bashkortostan, competition for assistance from the Head of Bashkortostan in the field of youth policy, as well as a match for contributions from the Head of Bashkortostan to support social projects in the field of cinematography.

Recall that on the eve of 2023, the Presidential Grants Fund summed up the results of 14 competitions held from April 2017 to September 2022. According to these data, Bashkiria hit the Top 5 in terms of activity among the regions of the Volga Federal District, the Bashinform News Agency reported.
