Bashkiria government discussed interuniversity student campus construction details

The government of Bashkiria discussed the details of constructing an inter-university student campus of the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center in Ufa. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov recalled that on December 14 last year, a concession agreement for this project was signed. By the end of this year, Bashkortostan is to operate the first stage of the project — IQ-Park.

“Building a campus is not easy, but we can do it. To fulfill these obligations, it is necessary to resolve land and property issues, ensure the adjustment of project documentation, determine the applicable content and transfer the IQ-Park to the concessionaire. In addition, it is necessary to prepare a presentation of the concept of the inter-university student campus project,” the head of the Cabinet emphasized.

As Bashinform News Agency wrote earlier, the artistic image of residential buildings is a prototype of the image of the kurai flower, the symbol of Bashkortostan. The auditorium-laboratory block embodies the root system, connection with the earth, stability, and monumentality of science. The total land area of the projected campus is 4.85 hectares.

Concluding the meeting, Andrey Nazarov emphasized that the goal of the campus is to become the central point of the scientific and educational resources of the region, a place of attraction for students and young scientists from all over the world, a center for collecting, analyzing and implementing advanced technology solutions and business ideas.

“We need to very clearly build a schedule and act in a coordinated manner, in unison with everyone involved in this process. Colleagues, I ask you not to violate the reference points regarding deadlines. Walk through them very carefully,” the prime minister instructed.
