"Admission to the university online" service possibilities are expanded in Russia

New State Information Systems were also connected to the "Admission to the university online" service. Some of the information that previously had to be filled in manually will now be loaded automatically if necessary due to the integration of information systems. This will make it easier for graduates of Russian schools to apply for online admission to a university.

The decree, signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, notes that the digital platform "Physical Culture and Sports", a state information resource about children who have shown outstanding abilities and an information system in the field of volunteerism development, has joined the service. Achievements in these areas give additional points for admission to a university. For example, they can be obtained if the applicant has a badge for completing the TRP complex or winning the All-Russian Olympiads in school subjects.

Admission information will be available in the applicant's account on the public services portal immediately after the selection committee’s decision. This is especially important for graduates who apply for several specialties and universities at once - they will be able to monitor the competitive situation in real-time and make a prompt decision.

At the same time, applicants can continue to use the classic methods of submitting documents - send them to the university by mail or bring them in person.
