Construction of two large engineering infrastructure facilities begins in Bashkiria

Preparation of sites for the reconstruction of biological treatment facilities and the construction of the central sewage pumping station began in Neftekamsk. Engineering infrastructure facilities are implemented as part of the city's integrated development.

As the Bashinform News Agency found out, specialists have begun design and survey work at the facilities. Workers are equipping construction sites, backfilling territories, and installing site fences and temporary structures.

“An infrastructure budget loan for the total amount of 3.5 billion rubles has been approved to implement this strategically important project for Neftekamsk. The construction of new infrastructure facilities will make it possible to additionally provide tens of thousands of families in the city with new high-quality housing in the future”, said Deputy Minister of Construction and Architecture Artyom Kovshov.

Treatment facilities in Neftekamsk have been in operation since 1978. Their wear exceeded 90%. Productivity today is about 13 thousand cubic meters per day. The pumping station will be erected at the site at 29 Yubileiny Prospekt, where the sewage pumping station No. 2, commissioned in 1962, is located, the Bashinform News Agency reported earlier.

Competitions for state contracts for the development of design and working documentation, engineering surveys, and construction and installation works were concluded at the end of last year.

Construction work on the pumping station should be completed by October 2024. Implementation of the project to reconstruct treatment facilities - in the summer of 2025.
