Radiy Khabirov: for republican residents, Ufa is power, strength, and intelligence of region

It is important for us to restore order in the capital together with you, said Radiy Khabirov at a working meeting dedicated to the preparations for the 450th anniversary of Ufa, with the participation of deputies of the city council, city and district administrations, and public members.

“The city should be comfortable for living, Ufa should become one of the best cities in the country, and all its residents should be proud of our capital. Important attention should be paid to this,” said Radiy Khabirov.

According to the Head of Bashkortostan, Ufa should become a city of the 21st century. For this, it is essential to think about its strategic development with new public spaces, comfortable housing, and affordable social facilities, quality of life, incomes of residents, development of transport and road facilities. Radiy Khabirov noted that Ufa has new lands for its development and housing construction, in the same Zabelye, for example.

“But we need a unified master plan for developing new city areas, and everything should be thought out to the smallest detail. The development of new areas cannot be carried out in separate locations. Let me remind everyone that by 2030, on behalf of the President of Russia, 4 million square meters of housing should be commissioned in Bashkortostan. Ufa should contribute to solving this big task,” said Radiy Khabirov.

The head of the region emphasized that significant amounts of funding are directed to road construction in Ufa. By 2024, the structure of the Eastern Exit should be completed. By the anniversary of the capital, the first stage of construction of the South Gate will be completed.

The second stage, worth 29 billion rubles, includes the construction of a southern bypass road from Pugacheva Street to the Ufa-Airport road in Kuznetsovsky Zaton.

The head of the republic drew attention to solving the problems of satellite settlements and cottage settlements, which are also part of Ufa.

Radiy Khabirov noted that much work is being done to build new sports facilities, the Palace of Wrestling, fencing, and rowing slalom centers are being made.

A world-class Research and Education Center has been created in Ufa, and a student campus for 5,000 students has been constructed. This unprecedented project will become a point of attraction for young people.

According to the Head of the Republic, Ufa is becoming a center of event tourism, and one must learn to be proud of the capital of Bashkortostan.

Ufa for all residents of the republic is the region's power, strength, and intelligence, and it is in the capital that many meanings are formed, the Head of Bashkortostan noted.
