The COVID-19 cases continue to decrease in Bashkiria, the Ministry of Health of the region stated.
According to the Ministry of Health, 78 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the republic over the past day. In total, more than 347 thousand cases have been registered in Bashkiria since the beginning of the pandemic.
“120 people are receiving the necessary treatment in hospitals, the vast majority of which are elderly people. About 1.2 thousand patients are on outpatient treatment. Of these, 355 people are over 65 years old,” the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic reported.
In total, more than 339.7 thousand people have been discharged with recovery since the beginning of the pandemic in the region. 153 of them - in the last day.
As Bashinform News Agency reported the day before, a decline in the incidence of COVID-19 has been observed in Bashkiria in recent days. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic, Airat Rakhmatullin, at the government operative office in the Republic Management Center.
The spreading coefficient of COVID-19 in Bashkiria is currently 0.7. In Russia, it is 1.
“We also saw a 39% drop in hospital admissions over the past week. 330 beds have been deployed in infectious diseases hospitals for the treatment of the new COVID-19, the free bed fund is 27%,” Airat Rakhmatullin said.
