According to the Directorate for Specially Protected Natural Territories, last year, 205,000 people visited the natural parks of Bashkiria. The maximum number of tourists was recorded in Kandry-Kul Park - 98,852 people. In second place in popularity is the Muradymovskoe Gorge Park, which more than 46,850 people visited. Natural parks "Iremel" and "Asly-Kul" received more than 32,182 and 26,770 people, respectively, and the park "Zilim" - 1,195 tourists.
During the New Year holidays, 1879 tourists visited the natural parks of the republic. The most popular during this period was the natural park "Iremel". For a week, it was visited by 1080 people. The second most popular was the natural park "Muradymovskoe Gorge", which was visited by 388 people. The number of officially registered tourists in the natural park "Kandry-Kul" was 311, and in the natural park "Zilim" - 100 people.
Among the visitors to natural parks are not only residents of Bashkiria. Tourists from different regions of Russia come to admire the nature of the republic, including from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Perm Territory, the Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, and Sverdlovsk regions.
