Maxim Ulchev, Head of the Press and Mass Media Agency of the Republic of Bashkortostan, congratulated the employees of the republican media and veterans of journalism on their professional holiday - Russian Press Day.
He noted that the republican print and electronic media keep abreast of public opinion, conduct active anti-fake activities and give an objective assessment of the events taking place in the era of new challenges, stressed the importance of understanding the full measure of responsibility for every word written and spoken on the air.
“I wish all media workers to remain true to their professional duty and improve their profession. I wish you success, health and happiness, well-being, inexhaustible energy, and new creative discoveries!” - Maxim Ulchev congratulated journalists.
Recall that Russian Press Day is celebrated in Russia on January 13. On this day in 1703, the first Russian newspaper, Vedomosti, was published in Moscow. Its publication was carried out by decree of the Russian Emperor Peter I.
