Russian government has expanded free medical care state guarantees program
The government of the Russian Federation has extended and expanded the program of state guarantees of free medical care until 2025, the government’s press service reports.
Following the task set by the President, the government continues to improve the availability and quality of medical care. For this, the program of state guarantees of free medical care was extended and expanded until 2025. According to it, citizens can receive, among other things, high-tech and specialized assistance.
The program also provides an increase in available types of services and an expansion of the possibility of medical rehabilitation, which will now be carried out at home, with the provision of medical devices necessary for this to patients. New directions: prevention and treatment of patients with hepatitis C and early detection of diabetes mellitus and its treatment.
