Doctors will receive monthly social payments of 4.5 to 18.5 thousand rubles

Russian doctors will receive monthly social payments of 4.5 to 18.5 thousand rubles per person in the new year. The corresponding decree, signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, was published on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

As previously reported, the increase in the basic salary is intended for physicians with scarce specialties: doctors and primary health care professionals, doctors of district hospitals, and doctors working at stations and in emergency departments.

The largest social payment - 18.5 thousand rubles - will be received by doctors of the central district, district, and local hospitals. Doctors of polyclinics and other outpatient primary health care institutions will receive payments of 14.5 thousand rubles, and doctors of stations or emergency departments - in the amount of 11.5 thousand rubles.

The total number of payment recipients will be 1.1 million people. 152.4 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

The resolution was adopted in pursuance of the instructions of the President of Russia, which he gave during a meeting of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights in December 2022.
