

Mass vaccination against influenza in Bashkiria has been completed, the press service of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor stated.
Vaccination covered 50.3 percent of the population of the republic. The main risk groups of people are protected.
"Nevertheless, we continue to follow simple preventive measures: wash our hands often with soap and water, wash our face and rinse our airways when returning home, maintain social distance, wear masks, and treat gadgets with disinfectants," the department stressed.
As Bashinform News Agency reported today, the incidence of influenza has increased by 28.8 percent in Bashkiria compared to last week. More than 1.896 million doses of influenza vaccine have already been delivered to the republic. More than 2 million people, or more than half of the republic's total population, have been vaccinated.
Considering the increase in the incidence of influenza in the region, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, called on labor collectives to be more actively vaccinated.
