Inter-university student campus project presented in Ufa

Today, at the presentation of the inter-university student campus project at International Business Week, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Airat Gatiyatov noted the quality and efficiency of the organizational work carried out in Bashkortostan.

"I thank you and the management team of the republic for the good pace of project preparation. The first stage of the campus, which will appear in Ufa in a year, will become a good example of effective work for the country's regions. In the cities where they will build similar facilities, they use the successful experience of Bashkortostan," said Airat Gatiyatov.

Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic, spoke in detail about the parameters and timing of the project implementation. The campus will include residential modules for students, teachers, and guests of the REC for 4.4 thousand seats, an IQ park, classroom and laboratory blocks, a genomic center, premises for trade and catering, sports and recreational areas, and sites for cultural events. The size of all objects will exceed 130 thousand square meters.

"We have compiled a list of enterprises and educational organizations that will be the anchor operators of the new facility, and we have also prepared a list of equipment to equip the campus," Rustam Muratov said.

The heads of scientific and educational institutions and business partners of the project made the presentation. They noted the high interest in working together and implementing innovative projects using the potential of the inter-university campus.

Recall that today, as part of International Business Week, the Etalon Group and the government of Bashkortostan signed a concession agreement for the construction and subsequent operation of the interuniversity student campus of the world-class Eurasian Research and Education Center in Ufa on the principles of public-private partnership.

Today, International Business Week is being held at the Toratau Congress Hall in Ufa. The annual economic event brought together more than 3,000 participants from among government officials, businesses and experts, the Bashinform News Agency reported. More than 50 business events will take place on the sidelines of the 15th-anniversary forum, where more than 500 federal and international speakers from more than 20 countries will speak.
