Extra-budgetary funds will be attracted to inter-university student campus construction in Ufa

Signing a concession agreement for constructing an inter-university student campus is one of the stages of a lot of work. The concept of the project stipulates that extra-budgetary funds should be attracted, said the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, answering a question from the Bashinform News Agency on International Business Week.

"The main capital grant of 12 billion rubles has already been included in the federal budget. It was important to find our funds - this is a small amount of 3.6 billion rubles for four years. And, accordingly, to find a partner within the framework of the concession agreement. In principle, the agreement is the last legal action before construction. We have to hand over the IQ-Park building in December 2023. After the signing of the agreement, design work will begin on the main part of the campus. You have seen the visualization, division by square meters. We also have a purpose. We need to start designing so that at the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024, we can start construction of the campus's main building," said Radiy Khabirov.

Recall that today, as part of International Business Week, the Etalon Group and the government of Bashkortostan signed a concession agreement for the construction and subsequent operation of the interuniversity student campus of the world-class Eurasian Research and Education Center in Ufa on the principles of public-private partnership.

International Business Week is being held at the Toratau Congress Hall in Ufa. The annual economic event brought together more than 3,000 participants from among government officials, businesses and experts, the Bashinform News Agency reported. More than 50 business events will occur on the sidelines of the 15th-anniversary forum, where more than 500 federal and international speakers from more than 20 countries will speak.
