

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Senator from Bashkiria Irek Yalalov with the Order of Honor. The republic's representative in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation announced this on his Telegram channel.
"I am grateful to President Vladimir Putin for the high appreciation of my modest work!" —Irek Yalalov posted.
The state award is given for achieving high productivity and economic indicators in the industry, construction, agriculture, communications, energy, and transport, which are associated with a significant increase in the socio-economic development of the country's regions.
Earlier, we recall, Irek Yalalov served as Ufa's mayor and worked as Bashkiria's Minister of Housing and Public Utilities.
