The first all-Russian competition Youth Capital of Russia is coming to an end, in which 59 cities from all over the country participated. The experts assessed a variety of criteria, including the creativity of solutions for young people, the integration of unique urban traditions, as well as realism and diligence, scale, and information openness.
Seven cities made it to the final part, including only one from the Volga District - Nizhny Novgorod. The capital of our district is still in the lead - more than 100 thousand people voted for it, followed by Vladivostok.
The popular vote will last until December 10, and its results will be added to the experts’ assessments. It would be best to leave your vote on the Rosmolodezh portal and the Youth House website at the link.
The winner will be announced on December 23 at the Time of the Young award ceremony. The selected city will receive the title of “Youth Capital of Russia” for 2023 and many bonuses, including holding national events and an additional grant competition for the city’s youth.
