9 applications were selected under world-class university campuses building program in Russia
According to the program for building a network of world-class university campuses in Russia in 2022, of almost 40 applications, 9 were selected, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
As Mikhail Mishustin recalled, 12 such projects are being implemented, including the campus of the Eurasian REC in Ufa.
“Such facilities should become a comfortable space where students and graduate students, under the guidance of teachers, can work in laboratories, embody creative ideas, conduct discussions, and interestingly spend their free time,” the country’s prime minister added.
We add that last year, 8 out of 27 applications were selected. Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that the design and construction of the inter-university student campus of the Eurasian REC in the capital of Bashkiria would begin in 2023.
The campus will be located on the southern slope of the Belaya River, and 20 billion rubles of investments will be invested in its implementation in the coming years, said the Head of the region Radiy Khabirov.
