1.6 million tourists visited Bashkiria in 10 months of 2022

Bashkiria is finishing the year with achievements in the field of tourism. Prime Minister of the Republic Andrey Nazarov announced them on his Telegram channel. According to these data, for ten months of the current year, more than 200 thousand people received the services of sanatorium organizations of the republic. In terms of the demand for resorts, Bashkiria leads among the regions of the Volga Federal District and ranks 5th in Russia.

"About 205 thousand more people visited the natural parks of the republic, which is 50% more than last year's period. In total, 1.6 million tourists visited Bashkiria in 10 months. Paid services were provided for 11.6 billion rubles, an increase of 26.9%. According to this indicator, we are in third place in the Volga Federal District. This year can be considered successful for the region's tourism industry," Andrey Nazarov posted.

He noted that much work had been done to develop the social, event, and other types of tourism, create new points of attraction and build infrastructure.

"Today, 14 ski resorts have opened the season of active recreation in Bashkortostan. All of them have passed the technical safety check and received permits for the operation of cable cars. Skiers and snowboarders are waiting for 57 tracks of various complexity and length, competitions, and events. We wish the residents and guests of the republic an active holiday and vivid impressions!" said the Republic's Prime Minister.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency told how the republic is opening up to the whole country, implementing new projects in tourism and hospitality, which is of great interest to Russians. After the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Russian Public Television, the federal television channel editorial office received many calls.
