Irek Sagitov told how 53.3 million federal funds are used in Bashkir sports

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Irek Sagitov took part in the meeting chaired by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, Oleg Matytsin. The panel discussed the implementation of investment programs by the Russian Ministry of Sports and the spending of federal budget funds in 2022.

As Irek Sagitov said in his TG channel, 53.3 million rubles of federal funds were provided for the implementation of the regional project "Sport is the norm of life" in 2022. Development is 52 million rubles. By December 15, 100% development is planned.

With this money, equipment was purchased for three sports schools of the Olympic reserve - boxing, tennis, and biathlon. Seven sets of equipment were installed at small sports grounds. State support was provided to 7 sports organizations that train the sports reserve.

By the end of the year, an indoor football arena on Komarov Street will be completed. We plan to operate the facility in the first quarter of 2023. A complex of facilities for rowing slalom on Lake Teploe is also being built, mainly at the expense of the federal budget.

According to the "Mass Sports" project, an international wrestling center is being built in the Republic in the Oktyabrsky district of Ufa. For the facility in 2022, 1,717.9 million rubles were provided for construction, including 300 million rubles from the federal budget. They will be used in full by December 15. The Svetlana Khorkina Artistic Gymnastics Center has been operating since June of this year.
