Economically active population number was calculated in Bashkiria

According to the Bashkir Statistical Agency sample survey, the labor force aged 15 and over in July-September 2022 exceeded 1.926 million people.

Of these, 59.5 thousand people were classified as unemployed; they did not have a job or profitable employment, were looking for work, and were ready to start it in the surveyed week. About 1.867 million more people were classified as employed in economic activities.

The level of general unemployment decreased and amounted to 3.1 percent.

The labor force has exceeded 75.104 million people during this time in Russia. In the Volga Federal District - more than 14.714 million people.

20 500 people were registered with the employment service of the population of Bashkiria by the end of October. Of these, 17.5 thousand people had the status of unemployed.

“The number of unemployed in October 2022 decreased by 9.2 percent compared to September 2022. The level of registered unemployment was 0.9 percent of the total labor force. 3 300 people received the status of unemployed in the region in October. Found a job of 2.8 thousand unemployed. This is 15.4 percent less than in October last year,” Bashkir Statistical Agency concluded.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the labor force aged 15 and over in June-August 2022 reached 1.934 million people in the republic.
