Cardiovascular Treatment Diseases Eurasian Congress opened in Bashkiria

The III Eurasian Congress on the Cardiovascular Treatment Diseases has opened in Ufa, Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan Maxim Zabelin said on his Telegram channel.

The international congress is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Bashkir State Medical University, as well as the 10th anniversary of heart transplantation in the republic, Maxim Zabelin said.

More than 1500 participants and speakers from Russia, China, Italy, Brazil, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus participate in its work.

“We are discussing important areas of the scientific program: the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, surgical approaches to solving the problem, the problems of heart transplantation, and many other issues. The new time brings new challenges, so doctors are constantly looking for new approaches and applying innovative methods. Today we are deciding how cardiologists will diagnose and treat,” the Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan summed up.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported concerning the head of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan Airat Rakhmatullin, since the beginning of this year, surgeons of Bashkiria have saved the lives of 44 patients thanks to organ transplantation - heart, hepar, and nephros.

Assessing the state of high-tech medical care in the republic, the minister stressed that it has now become more accessible to the population. The waiting time for operations has been significantly reduced. All this is because over the past 10 years the number of organizations providing high-tech medical care in the region has grown more than seven times.
